Neeli
Cherkovski was born in Santa Monica, Ca. He is writer-in-residence
at New College of California in San Francisco. He is the
author of twelve volumes of poetry, two biographies, and
a book of critical memoirs, WHITMAN'S WILD CHILDREN. His
poetry collection, TOLTEC STONE, MEXICAN WINDOWS will be
published soon by Cedar Hill. Another collection, PAINTER
POEMS, follows. Cherkovski is also finishing a book-length
essay on poetry, THE MUSE'S ALPHABET.
