Everything I do
I’d need to rethink
if the car was suddenly
put down.
I’d take my life
into my own hands
each morning during the rush,
ride my bicycle for 30 minutes east—
face hordes commuting
west towards the city.
But wait—
if no other cars were on the road,
bicycles facing bicycles,
everyone getting thinner, more fit,
adept at steering handlebars,
peddling in tandem,
needing only inches to park . . .
I think this might be better,
change holidays
to bad weather days,
every day a surprise!
