BUTTON DELIGHT

This wasn’t a dream.

I pressed the button and the clouds
Ratt led. I pressed it again and the
Sky vanished.

I walked away, amorphic, benign

I felt mild, but at the same time
Inspired and keen.  I did chores.
I rode a bicycle.

And when I returned I pressed it again.
And my eyes swiveled. I went to bed
E xcited by tomorrow.

Hours later I couldn’t dream - so I went downstairs.
I wore bloodshot
Eyes and  thirsty hair

I approached the button and
Quickly pressed it. The moon exploded
I went back to bed

Even more delighted
