Tommy Thompson was born in 1945. He lived in Paris as a young man and traveled extensively. He wrote songs for the group It's a Beautiful Day. His book of poetry, Through Chameleon Seas, has the back cover inscribed by Gregory Corso. Tommy was a protege of and buddies with Gregory and Herbert Huncke. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
